Restaurant & Small Business Program

Helps facilitate the approval process for all restaurants and other small businesses such as retail shops, barber shops, nail salons, etc.

How it Works

When you request assistance from the Restaurant & Small Business Express Program, a Case Manager will be assigned to each establishment to assist you at any of the following stages of the development:

Design stage

When the conceptual design is complete, the Case Manager can coordinate a meeting with relevant agencies to clarify code requirements, solve foreseeable problems, and help determine the types of plans required.

Permitting stage

When plans are submitted for review, the Case Manager can help you to resolve unforeseeable issues and conflicts related to all involved agencies, monitor plan check progress, assist in obtaining clearances from involved agencies.

Construction stage

When all required permits are obtained, the Case Manager can establish construction sequence, identify problems and find solutions, assist in scheduling final inspections to achieve targeted opening date.

Completion stage

With the target date approaching, the Case Manager can assist in closing out the job, acquiring the Certificate of Occupancy and getting approvals from other relevant agencies.
