Permitted Hours
Construction and demolition activities must be performed during the permitted hours described in the table above. Any activity outside of these hours may result in a fine.

Please note that exceptions do apply for Bel-Air/Beverly Crest Community and Bird Street and Laurel Canyon Community.
Failure to comply with the requirements may result in a misdemeanor charge for the responsible party, punishable by a fine of $1,000 and/or imprisonment in the County Jail.

Bel-Air/Beverly Crest Community
Starting in 2017, specific regulations were implemented governing all construction and demolition works in this area. During weekdays, work is permitted from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. On Saturdays and National Holidays, only interior work is allowed. Excessive exterior illumination of the site using floodlights or similar lighting devices is strictly prohibited after 6:00 PM on any day of the week.
Bird Street and Laurel Canyon Community
Starting in 2018, specific regulations were implemented governing all construction and demolition works in this area. During weekdays, work is permitted from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. On Saturdays and National Holidays, only interior work is allowed.
