VL Studio

VL Studio is a subsidiary of VL Architects, an architecture firm with decades of experience designing custom homes, ADUs, and other residential projects. We created VL Studio to focus exclusively on ADUs. Through our work with homeowners, we saw a need for a simpler and more predictable way to add living space to their properties. VL Studio brings our design experience together with a process dedicated to making ADUs easier to build.

We offer comprehensive, pre-approved ADU designs that can be adapted to the conditions of each site. Our plans include architectural, structural, plumbing, and mechanical designs, along with structural calculations and energy documentation. By participating in local pre-approved ADU programs, we aim to simplify the permitting process and reduce approval times. Combining thoughtful design, off-site assembly, and guidance from start to finish, VL Studio helps homeowners bring their ADU projects to life.
