EMR Program Overview

EMR Rules for Participation

The EMR program applies to these buildings:

1. Multi Story, wood framed building built before 1991
2. Multi-unit residential building with 5-10 units
3. Have tuck-unfer parking on ground floor

The structural retrofit of building should comply with the latest standard of one of the following:

1. FEMA P807
2. IEBC Chapter A4
3. ASCE 41

Note: The entire story must be analyzed and designed.
