Yes. Graywater Ready Systems are not required when the landscape area on the site does not exceed 500 square feet, or when graywater irrigation is not permitted due to geological conditions, or for additions or alterations that use the existing building drain.
Why do I need a fault investigation?
A fault investigation is required if the project is located within an Alquist-Priolo Earthquake Fault Zone or a Preliminary Fault Rupture Study Area to preclude construction for human occupancy from being placed on an active fault.

How do I get a permit to repair or rebuild?
Complete plans and construction documents will need to be submitted to the Department of Building and Safety (DBS) for review. The plans can be submitted electronically on the DBS Electronic Plan Review Portal (ePlanLA).
What does "like-for-like" mean, exactly?
A project may be rebuilt with the same nonconforming use, yards, height, number of stories, lot area, foot print, floor area, residential floor area, residential density, or parking as the structure that existed or had a valid permit immediately before the Wildfire.
